Flight Reservation vs Paid Flight Ticket
A flight reservation and a paid flight ticket are not the same thing. Understanding the difference helps you avoid presenting a temporary visa document as if it were a ticket for travel.
What is a flight reservation?
A flight reservation is a temporary record or itinerary showing proposed passenger, route and travel-date details. A FlyDummy reservation document is prepared for visa and travel-proof purposes, not for boarding an aircraft.
What is a paid flight ticket?
A paid flight ticket is issued after purchasing an airline fare. It is governed by the airline's fare rules, ticket conditions, baggage rules and cancellation or refund policy.

What a reservation can show
A reservation can show proposed passenger names, route, dates, itinerary segments and a booking reference or PNR where applicable. It can help keep travel plans consistent with the rest of the visa file.
What it cannot be used for
A reservation document cannot be used to check in, board, claim a paid seat, or guarantee that a visa authority will accept the file. Do not describe it as a paid airline ticket.
Visa application considerations
Some visa checklists ask for intended travel details, flight reservations or itineraries. Others may use different language or ask for additional documents.
